Avi Barda is a seasoned innovator in satellite communications, with a track record of developing cutting-edge technologies and holding multiple patents in the field. Prior to leading NOVELSAT, he founded AYECKA, where he served as Chief Architect and Chairman of the Board. Before that, he was Vice President of R&D at Shiron Satellite Communications, driving advancements in satellite technologies. Avi also co-founded and served as co-CEO of Lamda Networks, a company specializing in satellite signal intelligence, which was acquired by NICE Systems in 2010. Following the acquisition, he led NICE’s Satellite Technologies Division. Avi holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering (with honors) from Tel Aviv University and served in the IDF Intelligence Corps.

Nir is a certified accountant, holding a BA in Accounting & Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Bar Ilan University. Nir is an experienced finance executive (CPA) with over 10 years of broad experience in high-tech companies and multinational organizations. His expertise includes Finance, Accounting, Tax, Budgeting & forecasting as well as finance management. Nir joined AYECKA in 2018.

Mr. Kagan is a seasoned telecom executive with over 30 years of experience in the telecom industry.Before joining NOVELSAT Mr. Kagan was the CTO and a co-founder of AYECKA, FAE in Terayon, and R&D engineer in Combox. Mr. Kagan has vast experience in video broadcasting, satellite communications, and computer communication. Mr. Kagan holds a B.SC degree in Electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Ben-Sheloush has over 25 years of commercial and technical experience in the broadcast and broadband industries. Prior to joining NOVELSAT, he held senior sales and business development roles at leading organizations including SES, Reshet TV, and MTVS Studios, where he led the establishment and operation of broadcast studios and transmission facilities. Mr. Ben-Sheloush’s background combines commercial leadership with hands-on technical and operational expertise, enabling him to bridge business strategy with real-world technical delivery.

Mr. Marinov has over 30 years of technical management experience, leading the development of complex communication systems in the field of satellite communications. Prior to joining NOVELSAT, Mr. Marinov headed the R&D department at NSLComm, leading the design of nano communicating satellites. Previously Mr. Marinov served in various technological positions and held executive management positions at Gilat Satellite Networks and at RFIC company Sandlinks.
Mr. Marinov holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion.

Mr. Ronai is a seasoned telecom executive with over 20 years’ experience in telecom industry leadership roles. Prior to joining NovelSat, Mr. Ronai headed marketing and business development at Gilat Satellite Networks. Earlier, he served as head of microwave business development at Broadcom following the acquisition of Provigent where he served as VP Marketing. Mr. Ronai also served as CMO at Ceragon Networks and VP Marketing at ECI Telecom.

Mr. Ronai holds an MBA and a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Haroush is a seasoned operations executive with over 20 years of expertise in scaling high-tech global operations and satellite infrastructure. Prior to joining NOVELSAT, he specialized in transforming complex supply chains and ground-segment operations into data-driven engines, delivering mission-critical connectivity to rural and emerging markets. His extensive leadership background spans nanosatellite constellations and 5G networks, with a dedicated focus on operational excellence and bridging the global digital divide.
